Catchment – Poetry of Place : release of second edition

The Baw Baw Arts Alliance, in West Gippsland, Victoria, is proud to announce the online release of the second issue of Catchment – Poetry of Place, made accessible through this link on the southern winter solstice.

Readers will find tanka from three dozen Australian poets, along with a number of lengthier poems. With contributors required to be residents of this country, work has been inspired by locations spread across much of this nation, with some poetry of place also sparked by overseas contexts.
Gathered together on Kurnai country, Catchment remains proud to present new writing in verse forms springing from both Japanese and Western origins, side by side.
Thanking everyone who has shown support, its editorial and IT teams are likewise delighted to present offerings from newer writers, in parallel with songs sung by more seasoned voices.
