Cloudcatchers’ Winter Ginko No. 78

Piccabeen Park, Bangalow, NSW

Cloudcatchers held the winter ginko at Piccabeen Park, at Bangalow, on the far north coast of NSW, on Thursday 14th August.  The group has held many ginko here over the years, but this title for the park is new – now named for the palm species local to the area. One haiku reported an old rope dangling over the creek, waiting for another summer, another commented on all the toddlers taking over a heritage park.

the soundless sound – Book launch

Join Grant Caldwell at the launch of his new book of haiku, the soundless sound, published by Red Moon Press, the largest and most prestigious dedicated publishing house in the genre. Rob Scott, Vice President of the Australian Haiku Society will launch the book which features 270 poems written since blue balloon was published in 2020. 

This issue is a limited first printing of one hundred copies.
