Haiku are everywhere – it is just a matter of finding them; writing them; enjoying them. They may be short but they can pack a punch! Pin these escapees down.
Haiku are contagious – memorably so!
Haiku take you places you did not know existed.
Write ten haiku and you want to write ten more.
Haiku allow you to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to write haiku or to include succinct lines in their poetry. In this workshop you will discuss what a haiku is, learn how to edit your haiku, what to look for when searching for haiku and, most importantly, have some fun.
