Here are my three haiku poems:
an overcast sky
frogs clear their throats
in dyied drains
dusk falling
the scarecrow ready
for a sleepless night

change of season
a few more wrinkles
at the corner of the eyes
end of summer lights
the song of the starlings
in the pomegranate
over a black coffee
the hullabaloo of thoughts
sleepless nights

elegant, the tall slender bodies
balancing gourds
a spring trip
to America to visit a special friend
squirrels on the grass
piled high.

and an honesty box.

chill wind
a single camellia blooms
beside the pool
birds squabble—
a shower of tiny fruit
from the old fig
sun shower
a yellow leaf
alights on my page

Kelvin waves,
Madden-Julian oscillation
Seas at equator
Clouds once again – now
Steady rain, cool breeze through trees
Don’t need ceiling fan
Humid afternoon
Schools circle near the surface
Follow slow currents
