Welcome, haiku poets worldwide, to the Australian Haiku Society Spring Equinox Haiga Kukai 2024 Non-Seasonal. The competition starts today, 22 September, in Australia. It will be open for eight days, including today, to allow haiku poets in Australia and abroad to contribute their haiku.
Please enter your haiku well before the opportunity finishes to avoid missing out.
You are invited to write a haiku in response to the image by Olivia Ark.
Enter no more than one haiku per image. Haiku entered should not have been published previously in print or online, including in discussion forums. Only your first haiku will be considered if you enter more than one haiku per image.
Your name should appear on your entry as you want to see it on the website.
The winning haiku will be displayed on the AHS website.
By entering the competition, entrants agree to make their haiku available for display on the AHS website, although the copyright will remain with the author.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding winning entries.
To enter, post your haiku in the comment box. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the comment box.
If you make a mistake in your haiku, please post it again, including a note to disregard your first entry.
Good luck and enjoy!
