An entry by Australian haiku poet Rodney Williams has been Commended in the 2015 Little Haiku Contest, as judged by Jim Kacian for the Three Rivers Haiku Association in Croatia. Published in the Croatian haiku magazine Iris, Rodney’s poem responded to the set theme of light:
New Year countdown –
before any fireworks
stars glint on the lake
