after the rain
so many ways to say
‘I’m sorry’
spring festival
a boy shows off
his prize koi
wedding bouquet
veiled in misty secrecy-
arranged marriage
first dawn . . .
the surprising warmth
of her baby’s breath
spring on display
flowers all colours
of an opal
sudden rain
his bouquet of tulips
a day late
Buds in promise blush
Spiders cast a virgin moon
Kisses fall in spring
soft
as a new baby’s breath
spring petals
cherry buds
on the verge of opening–
3rd trimester
first spring morning
the lightness
of a brushstroke
