Lyn, Julia, Stella and Maeve (Steve sent an apology) all reviewed each other’s haiku and concluded that rather than create a string, we would each work on our own themes and produce individual sequences, which we could send to each other by email and/or discuss at the next meeting.

The Australian Haiku Society is proud to announce the 2nd running of the John Bird Dreaming Award for Haiku. The award is a biannual international haiku competition open to poets from all over the world.
Mindful of the ever changing weather we met once again at Carol’s home. It was a delight to welcome Patricia back following a period of ill health. We were also looking forward to welcoming new recruit Joy. However, an unintended double booking meant we will have to wait until our next meeting.
